Quality Control Chemist

🔬 Quality Control Chemist – Specialist Chemical Manufacturing (UK)

Looking for more than another routine QC laboratory?

Perhaps you're tired of repetitive tests and limited opportunities? Or maybe you seek a business where Quality Control isn’t just a support function—it’s embedded in everything they create?

We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading international manufacturer of specialist chemicals serving aviation, industrial, infrastructure, and energy sectors.

The Role

We’re searching for an experienced Quality Control Chemist with a specialist focus on wet chemistry to join their advanced technical laboratory.

Why this opportunity?

This role is not about:

  • Pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Contract testing laboratories
  • Repetitive production-line QC tasks

Instead, you’ll work in a specialist chemical manufacturer alongside Technical, Production, and R&D teams to: ✔ Ensure raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products consistently meet specifications ✔ Troubleshoot manufacturing issues collaboratively ✔ Uphold the highest quality standards

Your existing QC/chemistry experience is critical—we’ll provide comprehensive training on company-specific equipment and testing methodologies.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
