A manufacturer of specialist pharmaceuticals is currently seeking a QC Chemist to join the team at their site in Guildford.

Role Overview

  • Permanent Full time, 40 hours (5x 8 hour shifts per week, Mon-Fri)
  • Rotating weeks, week 1 start at 3AM, week 2 start at 5AM, week 3 start at 7AM. Some overtime on Saturdays.
  • £33,450 starting salary.

Responsibilities

  • Routine analysis of pharmaceutical products in line with cGMP and company standards.
  • Utilise a range of analytical techniques and equipment including HPLC, GC, RTLC, LAL, and Gamma Spectrometer, to name a few.
  • Take part in maintenance and calibration of analytical equipment.
  • Ensure all records and documentation are completed in line with relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements

  • Experience with HPLC, GC, or similar analytical instruments in an industrial setting.
  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent in relevant Analytical Chemistry related discipline is essential.
  • Must be able to work shifts that include nights and will include occasional Saturday work (overtime).
