Quality Control Coordinator
Location: Telford Salary: £38,414 + overtime (1.5x) Shift: 4 on 4 off (Days only – 7am to 7pm)
Müller is seeking a Quality Control Coordinator to join our Telford site. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to drive quality standards, support laboratory operations, and uphold food safety excellence across the business.
In this key position, you’ll work closely with the Quality Control Manager and broader technical team, acting as a vital bridge between the lab and production to ensure accurate testing, compliant reporting, and ongoing improvement of quality systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing out-of-specification (OOS) results and facilitating root cause investigations
- Producing quality reports to identify trends and implement corrective actions
- Ensuring all testing aligns with brand and customer standards
- Maintaining laboratory equipment, calibration, and upholding compliance standards
- Supporting audits, traceability studies, and accreditation guidelines (CLAS)
- Managing laboratory consumables and overseeing stock control
- Assisting in factory trials, shelf-life analysis, and technical projects
- Maintaining and enhancing LIMS systems and associated technical documentation

Requirements
- Previous experience in laboratory or quality roles, ideally in food or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG)
- Sharp attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, with problem-solving at the core of your approach
- Confidence working independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Familiarity with data management, reporting tools, or LIMS systems (experience advantageous)
