QC Engineer – Nuclear | £65,000 + Benefits | Permanent Role

Join Boccard UK at an exciting time of growth as we expand our presence in the nuclear energy sector. We are looking for a Quality Control (QC) Engineer to join our team at our state-of-the-art, fully digital manufacturing facility in Deeside.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing

  • Implement and maintain Project Quality Plans & Inspection Test Plans (ITPs)
  • Review fabrication documentation, LTQRs, weld procedures & calibration records
  • Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) including root cause analysis & corrective actions
  • Conduct internal and supplier audits, supporting quality improvements
  • Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Support the delivery of right-first-time manufacturing excellence

👤 What We’re Looking For

  • Strong background in pipe spooling / fabrication environments
  • Experience working within nuclear or highly regulated industries
  • Advanced knowledge of welding procedures and quality compliance
  • Proven experience managing NCRs and quality documentation

🎯 Certifications:

  • CSWIP 3.1
  • We are open to candidates with relevant NVQs, PCN Level 2 certifications, or equivalent experience
  • PCN Level 2 Radiographic Interpretation (minimum requirement)

👉 If you have the right experience and attitude, we are open to considering strong candidates who may not tick every certification box.
