Your Mission at CMbE
This role requires a Quality Control Engineer with strong technical expertise, deep knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, and the ability to evaluate quality issues effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Root-cause problem solving: Diagnose and address manufacturing faults using strong analytical skills.
- Process control & quality leadership: Apply ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 fundamentals, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and lean manufacturing techniques to improve processes.
- Interpretation & reporting: Work efficiently with engineering drawings and produce clear, detailed technical reports.
- Continuous improvement: Drive high-impact quality initiatives and support cultural development in quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a design-to-order manufacturing environment, with a proven track record in quality assurance, troubleshooting, and process optimisation.
About You
Qualifications & Experience
- Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
- Formal quality training (e.g., CQI or IRCA certification) is highly advantageous.
- Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, diagnose defects, and provide clear solutions.
- Intermediate-level programming knowledge (e.g., LabVIEW, Python) would be beneficial but note that this is not a formal requirement and might be trained on the job at the user’s discretion
