Quality Control Laboratory Manager
About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Laboratory Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our laboratory within a regulated environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality analytical services, maintaining compliance with quality and regulatory standards, and driving continuous improvement across laboratory activities. The successful candidate will provide leadership to laboratory personnel while ensuring efficient workflow, resource management, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily laboratory operations, ensuring activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with approved procedures and quality standards.
- Lead, mentor, and support laboratory staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Ensure laboratory equipment, facilities, and resources are maintained and fit for purpose.
- Manage laboratory documentation, quality systems, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Support method development, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Quality, Operations, and other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of reliable and timely laboratory results.

About You
- Previous experience in a laboratory leadership or management role.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory operations, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and develop teams.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
