We are looking to appoint an experienced Quality Control Manager to join our Regional Building Business Unit, supporting projects across the West Midlands regions. Also referred to within the construction industry as a Clerk of Works, this role will report directly to the Regional Directors and play a key part in maintaining quality, compliance, and safety standards across major construction projects.

Working on projects ranging from £5m to £100m across the health, education, defence, and commercial sectors, you will ensure all works comply with Employer’s Requirements, company BMS processes, and project-specific quality standards. This role will involve regular travel across regional sites and offices.

  • Monitor construction quality, identify defects, and ensure corrective actions are implemented and recorded
  • Maintain accurate inspection records, quality documentation, photographs, and reports in line with BMS procedures
  • Liaise with contractors, consultants, and project teams to provide technical guidance and resolve quality issues
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, including coaching site teams and contributing to quality assurance processes

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
