Hours: Monday to Friday, flexible start and finish times

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business that supplies high-quality, precision-engineered products to a diverse customer base across multiple industrial sectors.
The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead quality control activities across a busy manufacturing operation. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will play a key role in driving quality improvements, reducing waste and customer returns, and ensuring products consistently meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control procedures, policies, and standards
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Quality Control team
- Conduct product and process inspections and audits
- Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Senior Leadership teams to resolve quality concerns
- Monitor manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Analyse quality performance data and report on key metrics
- Drive initiatives aimed at reducing waste, defects, and customer returns

Requirements
- Strong Quality Control management experience within a heavy manufacturing environment
- Extensive knowledge of complex manufacturing processes
- Experience leading and developing quality teams
- Strong problem-solving, auditing, and continuous improvement skills
- Ability to influence and engage stakeholders across all levels of the business
Desirable
- Qualified Auditor
- Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification
