Vertu Ford Birmingham Fleet
We are currently looking for a Compound Operative / PDI Quality Controller to join our fantastic team at Vertu Ford Birmingham Fleet.
We are offering a basic salary of £12.71 per hour, plus an excellent range of company benefits.
The Role
This role plays a key part in ensuring every vehicle meets Group and Ford brand standards within 72 hours of arrival, helping to maintain the premium look and feel expected from a leading automotive brand.
You will be responsible for inspecting and quality-checking all new and used vehicles once preparation has been completed, ensuring they are fully prepared, compliant, and ready for sale or despatch.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure vehicles are prepared to Group standards within agreed timescales
- Complete the full and final inspection of finished vehicles prior to despatch or customer release
- Carry out quality checks on valeting standards and overall vehicle condition
- Ensure customer-specific branding is correctly installed on each vehicle
- Quality check documentation on internal job cards
- Manage vehicle logistics, including returning vehicles to the correct areas on site
- Support collection and delivery of vehicles to customers and other business locations
- Assist with general site maintenance duties, including control of the customer car park

About You
Experience is not essential, as full training will be provided. This makes it a great opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within a premium automotive dealership environment.

A full UK driving licence is required due to vehicle movements and customer deliveries.
