About the Role:
We’re seeking an experienced Quality Coordinator to join our project team for one of our largest data centre construction projects in Finland. You’ll change the future of technology infrastructure, ensuring meticulous quality standards across every stage of delivery.
The role is remote from the UK with recurring (11-3 month) international rotations to Finland, or fully in-country relocation.
Key Accountabilities:
Planning & Preparation:
- Act as the Primary Quality Interface between the Client and Contractors’ Quality Teams, securing seamless alignment.
- Manage on-site resources to organise, monitor, and document quality events and benchmarks against tight deadlines.
- Develop, finalise, and deliver the project Quality Management Plan—guaranteeing full compliance with client specifications.
- Uplift all quality specifications to:
- Service/EMI providers
- Equipment manufacturers & integrators
- Specialty Package Contractors
- Commissioning Agents
- Define factory witness testing protocols and coordinate off-site quality activities, including custom supply-chain planning.

Execution:
- Train and inform all stakeholders about quality processes, ensuring full workplace adoption.
- Verify contractors’ Quality Control Plans—guaranteeing they meet client contract requirements while maintaining best-in-class standards.
- Manage on-site QA activities, with a focus on proactively measuring and learning from key milestones.
Quality Culture:
- Drive a culture of excellence—training all operatives (onsite and offsite integrators) during project induction to embed quality priorities into the team’s DNA.
Requirements:
We’re looking for a technically strong leader who thrives at the intersection of organisation, rigour, and transformation. Essential:
- 10+ years’ experience in a Quality Manager/Coordinator role, ideally on multi-million investment construction projects.
- Preference for data centre/IT infrastructure project experience, though not essential.
- Familiarity with consultancy, general contracting or client-side environments is critical—and brings valuable insights when shaping quality assurances in complex environments.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills, with professional fluency in QA toolsets (e.g., ISO standards, project-specific matrices).
