Quality Delivery Coordinator

Permanent, Full Time: 35 hours per week Salary: £28,000 - £31,000 + Benefits Location: Home-based in England, Scotland, or Wales with occasional travel


We are looking for a Quality Delivery Co-Ordinator to play a key role in ensuring the effective onboarding, approval, and management of centres and qualifications. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to maintaining high-quality assurance standards, support regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement across operations. You will work closely with internal teams and centres, providing guidance, coordinating activity, and helping to protect the integrity of qualifications.


About the Role

To ensure the effective onboarding, management, and oversight of centres and qualifications by delivering a compliant, efficient, and risk-informed approval and lifecycle process. The role supports quality assurance standards by:

  • Maintaining accurate data.
  • Coordinating EQA (External Quality Assurance) allocation.
  • Providing instruction and guidance to centres.
  • Driving continuous improvement to protect the integrity of qualifications and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will manage the end-to-end centre approval process to ensure:

  • Timely and compliant onboarding.
  • Conduct due diligence to identify risks.
  • Oversee qualification approval requests to ensure alignment with quality assurance frameworks and regulatory requirements.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate and administer centre lifecycle activities, including:
    • Closures.
    • Change requests.
    • Engagements with dormant centres.
  • Ensure accurate records and compliance.
  • Maintain, review, and update related processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for operational efficiency.

You will also:

  • Liaise with Quality Assurance Managers to assign External Quality Assurers (EQAs) through Smarter Touch.
  • Communicate updates to centre staff on EQA allocation.
  • Deliver training and guidance to centres on policies, procedures, and quality expectations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date data across systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams:
    • Support continuous improvement.
    • Facilitate projects.
    • Provide operational efficiency across insights and business functions.
    • Offer logistical and administrative support when required.

About You

  • Proven background in regulated sectors with experience providing advice to organisations within compliance frameworks.
  • Experience in developing and implementing clear, effective policies and procedures within an Awarding Organisation.
  • Ability to:
    • Interpret complex regulations, policies, and procedures.
    • Analyze and distill complex data for internal reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability in a customer-facing role with:
    • Providing high-quality customer service within a high-volume demand-driven environment.
    • Consistently demonstrating diligence, accuracy, and attention to detail, especially in recording information and managing compliance.
  • Experience in using systems such as Power BI and Advanced Excel would be beneficial.
  • Experience in training or facilitating workshops to inform teams about compliance responsibilities is advantageous but not essential.
