Key Responsibilities
- Carry out detailed inspection of machined and manufactured components in Hayes
- Use precision measuring equipment including verniers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection tools
- Operate and interpret results from CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) inspections
- Compile and review AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs)
- Support incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities across production in Hayes
About You
The ideal Quality Engineer for this Hayes role will have:
- Strong experience in inspection within a manufacturing or aerospace environment
- Confident use of gauges, verniers, micrometers, and inspection tools
- Understanding of AS9102 and experience producing FAIRs
- Experience using CMM equipment (programming or operation)
- Strong attention to detail and methodical working approach
