Precision matters here. Our client manufactures tight-tolerance components that end up in surgical devices, aircraft, trains, and cars where a fraction of a millimetre is the difference between pass and fail. They're looking for a Quality Engineer who wants to be part of that story, not just watch it from a desk.
The Role
This isn't a paperwork job. You'll split your time between the shop floor and the QMS, making sure the two never drift apart. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you'll:

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Why This One's Worth a Look
You'll be joining a business where quality isn't a checkbox exercise, it's the product. The components you help sign off could end up in a hospital, an aircraft, or a train carriage. Few quality roles offer that range of impact, and fewer still give you this much ownership over how it's delivered.
“It took my CV and asked me questions relevant to understanding what kind of jobs to suggest for me. Suggestions were almost perfect. Jobs were exactly what I’ve been looking for.”
