Quality Engineer
Leading Aerospace Manufacturing Organisation – Quality Engineer (Permanent)
About the Role
A key member of the team, you’ll take responsibility for ensuring high-integrity aerospace products meet strict compliance standards while driving continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Assure compliance to aerospace quality standards and regulatory requirements, including AS9100, AS13100, AS9102, and Part 21.
- Lead product and process assurance activities, such as:
- Conducting audits
- Reviewing First Article Inspection (FAI) reports
- Implementing quality risk mitigation strategies
- Drive defect reduction and Zero Defect initiatives through: -Containment and root cause analysis (using 8D, A3, and RCA methodologies) -Monitoring and improving quality performance metrics
- Act as the key quality interface across:
- Operations
- Engineering
- Suppliers
- Customers (Focusing on supporting audits and issue resolution)

Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications
- Proven Quality Engineering experience in an aerospace or highly regulated manufacturing environment.
- Strong working knowledge of:
- AS9100, AS9102, ISO9001, and aerospace regulatory frameworks (desirable).
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and customer requirements.
- Hands-on experience with:
- APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning)
- PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
- DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
- PPAP (Production Part Approval Process)
- Control Plans
- Root Cause Analysis

Location: Coventry Contract Type: Permanent Hours:
- Monday–Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
- Friday: 8:00am – 3:30pm
