Location: HS Marston, Wolverhampton
Function: Quality / Manufacturing
Reports to: Lead Quality Engineer
Position: Onsite - Quality Engineer

We are now looking for a Quality Engineer to join our manufacturing team and play a key role in improving, maintaining, and strengthening quality performance within the manufacturing cell.

What You Will Do
As Quality Engineer, you will work closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure product and process quality is maintained, issues are contained quickly, and improvements are embedded for the long term.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Operations on internal and customer quality issues
- Ensure full containment of all quality-related issues
- Manage Quality Notifications and support appropriate disposition
- Support internal and customer investigations using structured problem-solving tools such as 8D, 5 Whys, or similar
- Drive continuous improvement activities to reduce waste and improve efficiency
- Identify and implement projects to reduce Scrap, Rework, and Repair (SRR)
- Support the implementation of Zero Defect initiatives across internal operations and the supply chain
- Improve process robustness through tools and activities including:
- PPAP (Product Part Approval Process)
- PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
- RRCA (Relentless Root Cause Analysis)
- MPR (Manufacturing Process Review)
- Support wider Quality Department activities as required

What You Will Bring
We are looking for someone with a strong quality mindset, a practical approach to problem-solving, and the confidence to work across multiple teams within a manufacturing environment.
Ideally, you will have:
- Understanding of Quality requirements such as ISO 9000 or AS9100
- 2 to 5 years’ experience working with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Experience in identifying and resolving problems using structured techniques
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, SPc)
- Experience with Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA), including 8D or similar methods
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively
