Quality Engineer – Functional (ERP Testing)
Location: London, UK
Eligibility: Must be a UK National with a minimum of 5 years' residency in the UK.
Job Description
We are seeking a Functional Quality Engineer to support testing activities within an ERP environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in functional testing, test execution, defect management, and test coordination, with exposure to Oracle ERP systems being highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and execute functional testing activities across different test phases.
- Assist in test planning, test documentation, and coordination activities.
- Execute test cases and record test evidence and results.
- Track defects, support defect triage activities, and maintain test traceability.
- Monitor testing progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Support administrative testing tasks and ensure adherence to testing processes.
- Collaborate with test teams and business users to ensure successful delivery.

Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in functional testing and quality assurance activities.
- Good understanding of:
- Test lifecycle and test phases
- Test execution processes
- Defect management methodologies
- Test traceability and reporting
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Experience working with ERP applications, preferably with Oracle ERP.
- Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, Xray, or similar platforms.

Mandatory Requirements
- UK National with a minimum of 5 years continuous residency in the UK.
- Strong functional testing experience.
- Experience with JIRA/Xray or equivalent testing tools.
- Understanding of ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
