Job Description

We are supporting a major nuclear infrastructure programme based near Hinkley Point C, delivered by one of the UK’s leading energy organisations.

This opportunity is ideal for a Quality Engineer or Quality Assurance professional with experience working in regulated or safety-critical environments, supporting compliance, governance, and continuous improvement across complex engineering projects.

You will play a key role ensuring quality standards are maintained across project teams and suppliers, supporting one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

Support deployment and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) Quality Planning, inspection co-ordination and test plan writing. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 19443, and regulatory requirements Conduct and support internal and supplier audits Monitor quality performance and identify improvement opportunities Support project teams in implementing quality processes and best practice Interface with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and project teams Produce reports and quality documentation using Microsoft Office and reporting tools Support continuous improvement initiatives across the programme Work with EPC's

Qualifications

Required Skills:

5–9 years’ experience in a Quality Engineer, Quality Assurance, or Compliance role Experience working with Quality Management Systems (QMS) Experience with ISO 9001 or similar recognised quality standards Experience working in regulated or safety-critical industries (nuclear, defence, aerospace, rail, oil & gas, or similar) Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills Experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Experience using SharePoint and collaborative platforms

Required Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.

Desirable Skills:

Experience in the nuclear sector

Familiarity with ISO 19443 Experience using Power BI or similar reporting tools Experience using Jira, Confluence, or Atlassian tools Experience supporting supplier quality or audit programmes Understanding of working in highly regulated environments
