Quality Engineer (multiple hires)

Swindon Hybrid | Up to £55,000 & Bonus 💵 & Benefits 💰

SR2 is partnering with an exciting client that is transforming how quality is built into software delivery 🔥

This is a hands on Quality Engineer role for someone who sees quality as an engineering discipline, not a final testing checkpoint. You’ll work directly with developers to prevent defects early, build robust automation, and help embed quality into every stage of delivery.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Owning and evolving automated test suites across unit, integration, API, and end-to-end layers;
  • Building automation within a modern.NET engineering environment;
  • Embedding quality gates into CI/CD pipelines, including coverage thresholds, automated checks, and build-breaking controls;
  • Championing shift-left quality practices across delivery teams;
  • Supporting observability across services, including logging, alerting, and synthetic monitoring;
  • Exploring safe and governed AI assisted testing approaches;
  • Defining and maintaining test strategy across automation and exploratory testing;
  • Working closely with engineers to triage defects, identify root causes, and improve quality at source;
  • Providing evidence-based quality insights to support release decisions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
