Quality Assurance Engineer Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester Salary: £45,000-£50,000 + Benefits

The Company

Our client is a specialist engineering manufacturer supplying bespoke products into demanding industrial markets worldwide. Quality is central to everything they do, from supplier management and manufacturing through to customer delivery.

They are looking for a hands-on Quality Assurance Engineer to take ownership of day-to-day quality activities across the business. This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes and working closely with production, engineering, suppliers and customers.

The Role

No two days will be the same. You'll be involved in everything from investigating production issues on the shop floor to developing quality procedures, supporting suppliers and ensuring the quality management system remains effective.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being involved across the whole quality function rather than specialising in just one area.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
