Quality Engineer - Coventry
DP World are recruiting for a skilled and dedicated Quality Engineer to join our growing team in Coventry. This role will focus on the identification and resolution of quality related matters ensuring the service and end product meets all required specifications from our customer.
About The Role
How you will contribute:
- Monitor operational performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical analysis to drive improvement.
- Produce and present management reports on quality performance of the operation internally and to the customer.
- Aid with the customer with quality specifications for new projects / products.
- Actively lead the quality tasks to achieve the local and corporate targets.
- To lead the internal auditing process for the local facility.
- Maintain the quality inspection standards in accordance with the sampling plan and customer requirements.
- Aid in the development of process documentation, ensuring that the quality system is maintained in accordance with ISO standards.
- Promote quality awareness within the operation.
- Conduct quality training for the business.
- Engage with a cross-functional team over internal / external customer RCCA investigation and implementation.
- Ability to communicate and deal with a variety of associates including the DP World operational and management teams. This will be a customer facing role.
- Ability to perform repetitive duties and detailed work accurately.
- Ability to work with frequent distractions.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Your Key Skills/Experience
- 3+ years of work experience working in a logistics environment working in a quality capacity.
- Knowledge of ISO9001 standard.
- Strong analytical skills and technical efficiency.
- Ensures that personal actions or the actions of others conducted do not endanger him/herself, other employees, or visitors.
- Learns and follows safe operating procedures when using tools and equipment.
