Your Role:
As Quality Engineer Lead, you'll assure the quality of products throughout their product lifecycle by supporting the product lifecycle quality assurance, through the complete manufacturing process, and taking responsibility for ensuring that processes and procedures are in place and adhered to in relation to product quality.
The Quality Engineer Lead plays a vital role in the support and development of our Quality Engineers, and Technician, and ultimately responsible for ensuring that products and services delivered have gone through the appropriate manufacturing / repair / validation process, prior to final handover to the customer.

Key Responsibilities:
- Working closely with senior managers, as well as the Quality Engineers, to define quality objectives in line with company objectives
- Lead and develop the Quality Engineers, and Quality Technicians within your area
- Assign workload, ensure support, and oversee activities of the Quality Engineers, and Quality Technician's within your area
- Ensure that the appropriate action plans are implemented and carried out and measure their effectiveness.
- Conduct audits and OJT in accordance with regulations, company procedures and customer requirements.
- Lead and maintain the implementation validation process
- Responsible for the analysis of all data to develop quality improvement plans, ensuring their effectiveness and efficiency
- Ensure that products and services delivered to the customers have gone through the appropriate manufacturing / repair / validation process
- Undertake QRQC (8D) as required to support timely operational throughput as required
What You'll Bring:
- Demonstrable experience in utilising QA Tools such as APQP, PPAP, Control Plans, and FMEA
- Sound Engineering / Quality background with experience of Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment (Aerospace/Defence/Automotive preferred)
- Experience of leading other team members, providing support and expertise relating to quality activity
- In depth understanding of regulatory, international and quality management standards
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to initiate and maintain relationships with challenging international suppliers and manage frequent interactions with Senior Management and other internal customers
- Ability to challenge individuals at all levels to ensure compliance to business processes and standards
