Quality Engineer

Technology plays a critical role in how Aston Martin designs, develops and delivers some of the world's most desirable vehicles. As we continue to invest in the future of engineering and digital transformation, we're looking for a Quality Engineer to help ensure our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions are delivered with confidence, reliability and quality at their core.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a major transformation programme focused on modernising engineering processes and systems. Working at the intersection of engineering, technology and business change, you'll play a key role in ensuring that critical platforms, including Siemens Teamcenter and its wider integration landscape, support the way our engineering teams design, develop and manufacture Aston Martin vehicles.

The role goes far beyond traditional software testing. You'll work closely with engineering, design, manufacturing and IT teams to understand how systems are used in the real world, ensuring solutions perform as expected and support the complex processes involved in product development. From validating product structures and engineering data to assuring integrations between PLM, ERP and manufacturing systems, your work will directly contribute to the success of one of Aston Martin's most significant technology programmes.

You'll lead testing activities across multiple workstreams, helping define testing strategies, coordinating test cycles and ensuring robust coverage across functional, integration, user acceptance and data migration testing. Working alongside internal teams and external delivery partners, you'll help identify risks early, manage defects through to resolution and provide clear reporting that supports key programme decisions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

We're looking for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, understands how technology enables engineering excellence and is passionate about delivering high-quality solutions. You'll be comfortable working with multiple stakeholders, translating technical complexity into clear outcomes and bringing structure to challenging programmes.

You'll likely have experience testing Product Lifecycle Management systems such as Teamcenter or similar enterprise engineering platforms, alongside a strong understanding of engineering lifecycles, product development processes and data integrity principles. Experience working within large transformation programmes, coordinating testing activities and supporting complex system integrations will be highly valuable.

Experience within automotive, manufacturing or engineering environments would be advantageous, particularly if you've worked with CAD integrations, engineering change processes, product structures (BOMs) or digital engineering technologies. Exposure to tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Polarion or automated testing solutions would also be beneficial.

What makes this opportunity particularly exciting is the scale of impact. You'll be helping shape the future engineering landscape at Aston Martin, ensuring that the systems supporting vehicle development are robust, scalable and aligned with our long-term digital strategy. Your work will influence how engineering data, processes and technologies come together to enable the next generation of Aston Martin vehicles.
