Job Description

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join Rotork, a global leader in flow control and intelligent actuation solutions, supporting critical infrastructure across the energy, water, and industrial processing sectors.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Rotork at a time of continued investment in innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. You'll have the chance to make a tangible impact, develop your technical expertise, and play a key role in maintaining and enhancing quality standards across a global manufacturing organisation.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will work in a highly engineered, safety-critical environment where quality is fundamental to both performance and reputation.

The role

  • Managing NCRs from identification through to closure
  • Leading root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methodologies
  • Implementing and monitoring corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Analysing quality data and trends to identify improvement opportunities
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing and supplier quality issues
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product and process quality
  • Contributing to compliance with quality management systems and industry standards

Essential Experience

  • Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
  • Proven experience managing NCR and CAPA processes within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing processes
  • Experience using structured problem-solving tools such as 8D, 5 Whys, FMEA, and SPC
  • Understanding of ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems
  • Experience working collaboratively with production, engineering, and supply chain functions
