Job Description
The successful Records Support Officer (RSO) will support the management and assurance of Lifetime Quality Records (LTQRs) on a major nuclear construction project. The RSO plays a key role in ensuring document, records, authority, and certification arrangements meet ONR Nuclear Licence Condition 6 requirements for Lifetime Quality Records (LTQRs).
Following induction, you will provide quality records support to an HPC contractor management team, working under the guidance of the Quality Management Lead (QML) or Lifetime Quality Records Lead.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify non-technical aspects of Lifetime Quality Records (LTQRs) submitted by project suppliers.
- Support contractor teams by checking LTQRs, identifying issues, and recording findings within the Teamcenter Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS).
- Assist Quality Management Leads and Project Managers in maintaining compliance with quality and records management requirements.
- Review contractor document and records lists (LOD/LDRC) to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
- Monitor and report LTQR performance using established reporting tools and processes.
- Help define records management requirements for contractors and support ongoing performance reviews.
- Follow quality department policies, procedures, and specifications to accurately process and manage records information.
- Use document management systems and business tools including Teamcenter, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft 365.
- Support quality records activities across single or multiple contracts, adapting to project priorities and workload demands.

Qualifications
Essential
- A-Levels (or equivalent qualification), or demonstrable experience in a role requiring strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Experience working with project teams and external suppliers or contractor organisations.
- Experience analysing information, producing reports, and providing recommendations to support decision-making.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to follow direction, manage priorities, and maintain attention to detail.
- Experience supporting the preparation of reports, presentations, and project documentation.
- Proactive and collaborative approach, with the confidence to promote best practice and support practical solutions while remaining open to alternative viewpoints.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively across project and supply chain teams.
Desirable
- Experience using document and records management systems such as Teamcenter, Documentum, CEMAR, Business Objects, or Power BI.
- Experience in technical authoring, document control, records management, or a related discipline.
- Experience working within a regulated, quality-driven, or major project environment.
- Understanding of records, document, and data management principles within a major infrastructure, engineering, or construction environment.
- Knowledge of quality assurance (QA) processes and compliance requirements.
- Ability to interpret requirements, procedures, and specifications and apply them in a practical project environment.
