The Role:

Leading transportation client now requires a Quality Engineer to join the team and support the Quality Manager in maintaining alignment with ISO 9001 and ECM requirements via an array of inspections and process checks.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct internal audits against ISO 9001 and ECM legislation, managing post-audit actions.
  • Own non-conformance and KPI reporting across the domain.
  • Monitor QMS/ECM compliance through inspections and process checks.
  • Support quality assurance practices and deliver ISO 9001/ECM training.
  • Drive continuous improvement and manage quality projects (e.g. TMI App, Qualishare).

Key Requirements:

  • Engineering background with strong ISO 9001 audit experience. (railway industry experience is highly preferable)
  • Engineering degree (or equivalent) plus ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification.
  • Strong background in quality management, CAPA/root cause analysis (8D, 5 Whys), and ECM/PDCA knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with cross functional teams and report back to senior stakeholders.

Compensation and Benefits: This is a permanent opportunity which provides a base salary of £65,000 + excellent benefits package.

Working Structure: This role is hybrid with 4 days per week in their London office and the rest remote.
