Quality Engineer
Our client is a leading aerospace manufacturing organisation specialising in the design, development, and production of complex fuel and fluid management systems for both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft.
As part of a major investment programme, the business is entering an exciting new phase of growth and modernisation, including the transition to a newly developed manufacturing facility. This site will serve as a key centre for advanced aerospace production and engineering excellence, supporting customers across global commercial and defence markets .The organisation operates extensive testing and validation capabilities, enabling the development and qualification of highly reliable aerospace systems in demanding operating environments
. The Ro leWorking within a dedicated Quality team, you will support a broad range of quality assurance and continuous improvement activities across manufacturing and engineering operations. The position will involve maintaining quality management systems, supporting regulatory compliance, conducting audits, driving corrective actions, and working closely with both internal stakeholders and external customer

Key Responsibilit iesDevelop, implement and maintain Quality Engineering tools and methodologies including SPC, Gauge R&R, PFMEA, Six Sigma techniques, control plans and attribute char ts.Support and contribute to weekly and monthly Quality Management Revie ws.Compile, analyse and present KPI data to support business performance monitoring and decision-maki ng.Lead or support investigations into product, process and system quality issues, ensuring effective root cause analysis and corrective actio ns.Work with internal teams, customers and regulatory bodies to resolve quality concerns and maintain compliance requiremen ts.Support product and process risk assessments during design reviews and new product introduction activiti es.Maintain quality-related documentation, procedures and recor ds.Deliver training and support for certification and self-verification programm es.Conduct internal process, product and system audits in line with the company audit schedu le.Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of quality management systems and regulatory approva ls.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across the busine

ss. Requirem entsAerospace engineering knowledge and understanding of aerospace regulatory requireme nts.Familiarity with AS9100, EASA regulations or equivalent aerospace quality standa rds.Experience within a Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Quality or Quality Assurance environm ent.Experience participating in PFMEA, 8D investigations or structured problem-solving activit ies.Strong analytical and problem-solving ski lls.Excellent communication skills, both written and ver bal.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and able to quickly adapt to new business syst ems.HNC, HND or Degree qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing or a related discipline is preferred, although relevant industry experience will also be conside red.Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor training would be advantage
