QA Engineer | Manual Testing | Onsite in Fareham, Hampshire | Full-Time | £30,000 – £40,000
We’re working with a rapidly expanding tech company based in Fareham. As they continue to scale, they’re looking to bring a QA Engineer into their in-house engineering team to help ensure quality across their mobile (Flutter), web, and internal platforms.
This is a hands-on manual testing role suited for a Junior or Mid-Level QA professional who is passionate about quality, detail, and collaboration. You'll play a vital role in identifying bugs, verifying features, and working closely with cross-functional teams. There's also potential to grow into test automation or software development if you’re interested.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out manual testing across mobile apps, web platforms, and internal systems
- Write and maintain clear, reusable test cases
- Log and track bugs effectively, with accurate documentation
- Collaborate with developers and designers to understand functionality and edge cases
- Support regression, smoke, and release testing
- Help refine internal QA processes and contribute to documentation
- (Optional) Get involved in automation testing or UAT/customer feedback as you grow

What You’ll Bring:
- A detail-focused mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality software
- Experience in manual QA for mobile or web applications
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to teamwork
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work across multiple platforms
Desirable (Not Essential):
- Exposure to tools such as Postman, Cypress, or Playwright
- Interest in coding or automation (e.g., Dart, Python, JavaScript)
- Familiarity with Git, REST APIs, accessibility testing, or CI/CD pipelines
- Experience testing apps built with Flutter
