Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of Project Quality Control Plans (PQCPs) and Quality Execution Plans.
- Ensure supplier and contractor compliance with:
- Quality requirements
- CQAPs, ITPs, LTQRs, and contractual standards
- Coordinate and monitor:
- Inspections and surveillance activities
- Witness points and testing programmes
- Support supplier audits, track findings, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Review manufacturing, construction, and quality documentation, including:
- End-of-manufacturing and handover records
- Monitor non-conformances, quality issues, and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.
- Report quality metrics and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with:
- Project teams
- Contractors
- Inspection bodies
- Suppliers
Essential Requirements
- Experience in quality assurance/control within the nuclear or safety-critical sectors.
- In-depth understanding of QA/QC practices in:
- Engineering
- Procurement
- Manufacturing
- Construction
- Commissioning
- Knowledge of:
- ISO 9001
- ISO 19443
- IAEA GSR-2
- Quality management systems
- Experience with supplier audits and supply-chain quality management.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- HNC/HND, degree, or equivalent qualification in:
- Engineering
- Science, or related discipline
