Quality Engineering Intern
Cambourne, Cambridgeshire
£30,000 | 12-Month FTC
Are you a curious problem solver with an interest in process improvement, quality, and operational excellence?
We are looking for a Quality Engineering Intern to join a global manufacturing organisation, supporting a range of business improvement and continuous improvement projects across multiple departments.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a complex manufacturing environment, working with stakeholders across the business to understand processes, identify improvements, and help deliver meaningful change.
What You'll Be Doing
- Engaging with teams to understand current processes and ways of working
- Mapping and documenting business processes
- Identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Analysing quality and operational data
- Creating dashboards and visualisations using tools such as Power BI
- Supporting KPI development and performance tracking
- Working with stakeholders across different functions to drive improvements
- Contributing to workshops and process review activities

What We're Looking For
- Currently studying towards or recently completed a Bachelor's degree
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Interest in process improvement and operational excellence
- A curious mindset with a willingness to learn
- Confident communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Well organised and able to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Basic understanding of data analysis and reporting
- Experience with Power BI would be beneficial but is not essential
- Engineering backgrounds are welcome, but we are also interested in candidates who can demonstrate a genuine passion for improving processes and solving problems.
