£30–£40 PAYE OR (£38–£45 Umbrella)

Drive Quality Excellence in a Global Engineering Environment

Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Improvement Lead to join the Non-Conformance Management Team supporting the Small Gas Turbine (SGT) business in Lincoln.

Key Responsibilities

As the Quality Improvement Lead, you will:

  • Facilitate and coach teams in structured problem-solving and root cause analysis techniques.
  • Lead and support investigations into non-conformance issues across the SGT business.
  • Improve quality tools, processes, and reporting methods.
  • Work closely with engineering, project, manufacturing, and quality teams to drive improvements.
  • Support the achievement and exceeding of Non-Conformance Cost (NCC) targets and key performance indicators.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence throughout the business.
  • Support the implementation of effective corrective and preventative actions.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience leading investigations and structured problem-solving activities using formal methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of root cause analysis techniques and continuous improvement principles.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, project, manufacturing, and operational teams.
  • Experience facilitating workshops, training sessions, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to interpret data, metrics, and performance trends to drive decision-making.
  • Graduate-calibre professional.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Engineering, manufacturing, or industrial sector background.
  • Understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • Experience in Non Conformance Management processes.
  • Experience delivering structured continuous improvement projects.
  • Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies and tools.
  • Experience with reporting and data visualisation tools such as Tableau.
  • Familiarity with non-conformance management software and systems.
  • Experience implementing quality-related solutions and process improvements.
