Quality Improvement Lead
Job Title: Quality Improvement Lead
Location: Lincoln
Contract length: 12 months contract
Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is currently recruiting for a Package Repair Coordinator to join a World leader offering Products, Solutions and Services across the entire Energy value chain on behalf of a well-established manufacturing organization to play a key role in supporting Manufacturing Operations. You will shape a competitive, sustainable supply chain, partnering globally to drive productivity, quality, and digitalization.
As the Quality Improvement Lead, you will drive a stronger quality culture in the Small Gas Turbine business by coaching departments on root-cause analysis, improving non-conformance tracking tools, and enforcing process governance to minimize error costs and meet quality KPIs.
Some of the duties will include but are not limited to:
- Support all areas of the Small Gas Turbine (SGT) business by investigating non-conformances, as well as facilitating and coaching teams through root-cause analysis.
- Train employees across various departments on how to properly use formal problem-solving tools and techniques.
- Collaborate with internal SGT teams and the central quality team to upgrade and refine non-conformance management processes, reporting, and tools.
- Give clear guidance and oversight for non-conformance management across the business, ensuring all problem-solving activities follow effective governance protocols.
- Work to improve how non-conformances are captured and investigated, making these metrics visible across the entire organization.
- Ensure that all problem-solving activities help the business meet or exceed its Non-Conformance Cost (NCC) targets and quality KPIs.
- Partner closely with functional leads to champion and deliver a significantly improved quality culture throughout the business.

Essential Requirements:
- You must be a graduate-calibre candidate.
- You need proven experience with problem-solving and leading investigations using formal techniques.
- You must have direct experience facilitating workshops and delivering training sessions.
- You need experience with data interpretation and working with performance metrics.
- You must be a confident and articulate communicator who is capable of preparing presentation materials, as well as persuading and motivating others.
- You need experience interfacing with a wide variety of departments, including project teams, design teams, and third parties.
- You must possess the ability to build effective, strong relationships with project stakeholders.
- You need to be a strong team player who recognizes exactly how your position impacts and influences others across the business.
- You must be proactive, flexible, and fully prepared to plan and work on your own initiative.

Desirable Requirements:
- Having a background in the engineering industry or a manufacturing environment.
- A clear and accurate understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Experience in proposing and successfully implementing a variety of quality-related solutions.
- Direct experience working within specialized Non-conformance Management processes.
- Experience delivering structured improvement projects.
- Experience utilizing modern data tools (such as Tableau) and specialized non-conformance software.
