Quality Improvement Lead
Advocate Group is proud to represent a leading premium interiors manufacturer in their search for a Quality Improvement Lead to join their Group team - Spread across 2 sites (East + West Manchester)

The Role:
We are looking for a candidate who can make their mark by driving quality improvements across the manufacturing operation and ensuring products are delivered right first time. Here's how:
- Lead initiatives to improve Right First Time (RFT) performance and support On Time In Full (OTIF) delivery.
- Investigate recurring quality issues using root cause analysis, implementing effective corrective and preventative actions.
- Analyse and report on quality trends, identifying opportunities to reduce defects, waste, and rework.
- Act as the central point for quality data, collaborating with production, procurement, technical teams, and factory leadership.
- Support audits, quality checks, and adherence to standard operating procedures across the factory.
- Coach and influence colleagues to strengthen quality awareness and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

About You:
- Previous experience within a quality-focused role in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Proven ability to investigate non-conformances and implement sustainable corrective actions.
- Experience delivering continuous improvement projects that reduce defects, scrap, or rework.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into practical actions.
- Confident communicator, capable of building relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or quality management systems such as ISO 9001 would be advantageous.
- A qualification in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, or Operations would be beneficial.
