Quality Inspector
Rate: Dependent on experience Location: Woking Contract: Inside IR35, 6-month contract
Role Summary
As a Quality Inspector, you will be part of the Manufacturing Quality Inspection Team, responsible for ensuring vehicles and automotive parts meet the required quality standards and specifications.
You will inspect and validate parts, document deviations, support the resolution of quality issues, and contribute to continuous improvement activities across manufacturing.
Role and Responsibilities
- Inspect outputs across manufacturing areas to ensure they meet planned requirements
- Document any deviations from standards within the quality management system
- Collaborate with production teams and support functions to help resolve quality issues
- Utilise precision measuring tools and testing equipment to check dimensions, tolerances, and performance
- Attend and support daily quality meetings
- Input and maintain data within systems and tools that support Quality Management processes
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing product quality, reducing defects, and improving efficiency
- Provide feedback and suggestions to improve inspection processes and overall product quality
- Engage in regular training and development to stay current with inspection techniques and industry advancements

Requirements of the Role
- Previous experience within a quality, manufacturing, or process-driven environment
- Strong understanding of working to process instructions
- Good understanding of quality standards
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team when required
