Quality Inspector – Permanent Role

About the Role
As a Quality Inspector, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring product conformity throughout the build process and at final inspection. You’ll inspect materials, components, and assemblies at various stages, guaranteeing they meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
Location: Fareham Hours: Mon–Thurs 8:00–17:00, Fri 8:00–12:00 (Flexi Working) Contract: Permanent Salary: DOE

Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out dimensional inspections on in-house and outsourced parts/assemblies
- Working to inspection criteria, engineering drawings, standards, and purchase orders
- Using measurement tools, gauges, fixtures, and microscopes/digital microscopes
- Reviewing and verifying supporting documentation, including:
- Certificates of conformity
- Inspection records
- Material traceability documents
- Customer-required paperwork
- Checking stock for containment of quality issues and identifying non-conforming materials

Essential Requirements
- Experience in component inspection
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Experience using a range of inspection tools (e.g., callipers, verniers, gauges, micrometres)
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
