Role - Quality Inspector
Location - Kidderminster, UK
I'm currently working with a leading manufacturer of rocket propulsion systems for the defence and aerospace sector, who are looking to add a Quality Inspector to their Production Quality team based in Kidderminster.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect components and assemblies against engineering drawings and manufacturing requirements.
- Carry out first-off, in-process and final inspections.
- Raise and support investigations into non-conformances.
- Perform manual inspections using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, height gauges and shadowgraphs.
- Operate and program CMM equipment, including creating inspection programs and supporting software updates.
- Produce and maintain FAIR documentation using Visual FAIR.
- Support internal, supplier and flash audits.
- Work closely with Production, Design and Quality Engineers to continuously improve inspection processes.

- Previous experience in a Quality Inspection role within a precision manufacturing environment.
- Experience using CMM machines and inspection equipment.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of FAIR documentation and quality management processes.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
