Quality Inspector | Aerospace Manufacturing Portsmouth, UK F.P.T. Industries Ltd - DART Aerospace
Are you passionate about quality, precision, and aerospace manufacturing? F.P.T. Industries, part of the DART Aerospace Group, is looking for a Quality Inspector to join our growing Quality Assurance team in Portsmouth.
At DART Aerospace, we design and manufacture mission-critical aerospace equipment used around the world in both commercial and defense applications. Safety, reliability, and quality are at the core of everything we do.
What You'll Do
As a Quality Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring our products meet aerospace standards and customer requirements by:
- Inspecting sub-assemblies and finished products throughout the manufacturing process
- Verifying conformity against engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quality requirements
- Using precision measuring equipment to perform dimensional and visual inspections
- Supporting production teams to maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Identifying and reporting non-conformances while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For
Required
- Previous experience in aerospace manufacturing quality inspection
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Experience using measuring and inspection equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments
Preferred
- Knowledge of AS9100, AS9102, and CAA Part 21G standards
- Previous experience within an aerospace quality environment
- Engineering or Quality-related qualifications
- Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing processes
