Role Summary
The Quality Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that all ceramic products meet the company’s rigorous quality standards and customer specifications.
The role involves inspecting raw materials, in-process components, and finished products, identifying defects, and supporting continuous improvement within the quality management system.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of ceramic components at various stages of production.
- Use precision measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, gauges, CMM, optical equipment, etc.) to verify product conformity.
- Operate and program CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) equipment to perform complex inspections.
- Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and inspection plans to ensure accurate assessments.
- Record and maintain inspection results in accordance with internal documentation and ISO standards.
- Identify, report, and document non-conformances and assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Support calibration and maintenance of measuring equipment.
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues promptly and effectively.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in line with company quality objectives.

Skills and Experience Required
- Proven experience in a quality inspection role, preferably within ceramics, aerospace, precision engineering, or advanced manufacturing.
- Strong CMM experience (operation and ideally programming) is essential.
- Strong knowledge of dimensional inspection techniques and use of metrology equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality standards.
- Good IT skills for data entry and use of inspection software.
- Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and communication skills.

Hours
AM Shift:
- Monday to Thursday: 0730 – 1600
- Friday: 0730 – 1230
PM Shift:
- Monday to Thursday: 1300 – 2130
- Friday: 0900 – 1400
Note: *There are two positions available. Candidates may apply for either the AM or PM shift based on preference.
