Quality Manager – Precision Engineering / Manufacturing
Location: County Durham area
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000
Permanent role
I’m recruiting exclusively for a growing precision engineering business looking to appoint a hands-on Quality Manager.
This is a leadership role within a busy manufacturing environment, taking responsibility for the day-to-day quality function and working closely with production to improve standards, reduce scrap, resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement.

The role would suit someone with experience in:
- Quality management within engineering or manufacturing
- CNC machining / precision engineering environments
- ISO 9001
- NCRs, root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Internal, external or customer audits
- Engineering drawings and technical specifications
- FAIRs, inspection reports and quality documentation
- Measuring equipment and inspection techniques
- Working closely with production teams to drive improvements
