About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join our fast-growing team and take a key role in delivering one of our largest data centre construction projects in the Nordics. The role will involve a rotation between Finland and Norway (11/3 balance), with either full-time local presence or significant international travel.
Role Accountabilities
Planning and Preparation
- Serve as the key interface between the Client and Contractors' Quality Teams, ensuring alignment on quality expectations.
- Lead Arcadis’ Quality team on the project to deliver against client requirements.
- Direct on-site resources, organising quality events, setting benchmarks, and ensuring results are documented in a timely manner.
- Develop and execute the Quality Management Plan (QMP), in line with owner specifications.
- Communicate client quality specifications to all parties:
- Service providers
- Equipment manufacturers and integrators
- Specialty Package Contractors
- Commissioning Agent
- Define and manage project-specific Factory Witness Testing requirements, including planning and execution of off-site quality activities.

Execution
- Train and monitor all stakeholders on processes to ensure compliance with project standards.
- Oversee Contractors’ Quality Control plans, ensuring they are effective and aligned with contract requirements.
- Coordinate on-site quality initiatives, including benchmarking, documentation, and handover preparation.
- Manage all construction documentation and test packs via the client’s Electronic Document Management (EDM) system.
- Ensure the project meets all specified goals for transition to the commissioning team.
- Oversee trade-to-trade handovers in accordance with the project’s Integrated Management System (IMS).
Quality Culture
- Foster a culture of quality for all project operatives, including:
- Initial induction training
- Off-site team members (e.g., integrator contractors)
- Promote quality principles throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications & Experience
- Passionate about improving quality of life, with a commitment to collective impact.
- Technically capable, with a track record of delivering excellence through collaboration.
- Extensive experience as a Quality Manager on major construction projects, with:
- Familiarity with data centre/technology project delivery (preferred, but not essential)
- Background in consultancy, general contracting, or client-side environments
