Nuclear Project Quality Manager (M/F)

Your challenge with us:
As part of the major UK nuclear projects Hinkley Point C (HPC) and Sizewell C (SZC), Axima Nucléaire is involved in the design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of HVAC systems and Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG) systems integrated into our clients’ industrial facilities.
Reporting to the Quality and Supplier Oversight Department, you will be assigned to a project as Project Quality Manager for one of our contracts.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring that contractual quality requirements are fully integrated into the project's Management System and effectively implemented by all personnel, subcontractors, and the wider supply chain;
- Establishing, maintaining, and managing the Contract Quality Assurance Plan (CQAP) through the implementation, maintenance, and continuous updating of the Project Quality Management System and all associated documentation (policies, procedures, guides, surveillance plans, registers, etc.);
- Obtaining and maintaining ISO certifications for the Bristol entity in alignment with the global management system;
- Coordinating the quality team for engineering and procurement activities, while providing oversight and project support for on-site installation activities;
- Implementing independent quality and nuclear safety oversight through site inspections, internal and external audits, and regular site visits;
- Managing subcontracted manufacturing inspection contracts in coordination with the Quality and Supplier Oversight Department;
- Managing non-conformities by overseeing the related processes and tools, monitoring customer claims, and ensuring their effective resolution and closure;
- Participating in selected supplier audits alongside Project Quality Engineers;
- Collaborating with the department to share best practices and drive continuous improvement.

Travel within the United Kingdom and France will be required depending on the successful candidate’s location.
The ideal profile
You hold a Master’s degree (Bac +5 equivalent) in Engineering or a related field.
Your expertise in Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC), together with your knowledge of standards and frameworks such as ISO 19443 and IAEA GS-R-3, will be essential for success in this role.
Knowledge of UK nuclear quality standards, regulations, and practices (Licence Condition 17 (LC17) and/or Construction Design and Management Regulations (CDM)) would be a significant advantage.
