Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and execute quality assurance and control systems to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality finished goods and customer satisfaction
- Conduct positive product release reviews, ensuring all quality criteria and specifications are met before goods leave the facility
- Lead and support customer complaint investigations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments (Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Customer Service) to address quality issues and develop effective solutions
- Develop and implement preventative actions and quality improvement initiatives to minimise defects and enhance product performance
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of plant operations, manufacturing processes, and quality standards to provide informed guidance
- Communicate quality findings, trends, and recommendations clearly to senior management and relevant stakeholders
- Monitor and analyse quality metrics and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards, regulations, and industry best practices
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify adherence to quality procedures and documentation requirements
- Provide training and guidance to production teams on quality expectations and process improvements
- Maintain detailed quality records and documentation to support traceability and regulatory compliance

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of management experience within high-speed manufacturing industry, ideally in glass or packaging sectors
- ISO audit qualification or internal auditor training certification
- Demonstrated expertise in investigations and root cause analysis methodologies
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance systems, manufacturing processes, and relevant quality standards
- Proficiency in analysing quality metrics and key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with regulatory compliance and industry best practices in manufacturing
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and implementing corrective actions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings to senior management
- Experience in developing and delivering training programmes to production teams
- Familiarity with quality documentation systems and traceability requirements
