Quality Systems Coordinator

Quality Systems Coordinator (Fixed-Term, Maternity Cover)

Location: Coleraine, Northern Ireland Closing Date: Thursday 23rd July


About the Role

Here at Kinisla, we're currently recruiting for a Quality Systems Coordinator on a fixed-term basis (maternity cover) based in Coleraine, Northern Ireland.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Quality Systems Team across Europe
  • Manage and generate regional and global KPIs
  • Release products daily from warehouse post successful micro and analytical testing
  • Supervise and update warehouse stock of lab consumables (including PPE)
  • Tackle administrative tasks using systems such as SAP

Key Responsibilities (Detailed):

  • Ensure accurate product release based on scored, valid testing results
  • Complete and update internal weekly and monthly KPI reports
  • Prepare and update customer monthly/quarterly KPI reports, supplying Porter Reed data as needed
  • Maintain the PCO portal with PCO records and veterinary treatment logs for pest control
  • Provide administrative support to the FS&Q team
  • Handle customer complaints and External Stock Repairs/returns
  • Review RM approval documentation
  • Maintain product inspection schedules, trending and investigations as required
  • Manage EMP inspection schedules, trending and investigations as required
  • Handle shelf-life sample analysis
  • Route and set up customer portal alerts
  • Act as primary QMS communicator with all internal stakeholders
  • Complete internal quality management system (QMS) audits
  • Write and develop staff-to-staff SOPs to support manufacturing and quality management
  • Control stock ordering and place purchase orders for the technical department
  • Deputy for the QS manager when required
  • Address any other relevant requests for the business

Requirements

  • A diploma or higher in a Food Science-Senior Technologist related subject for enhanced operational knowledge.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English language
  • Strong numerical ability with skills in recording, comparing and analysing key process data.
  • Understanding of Food Safety and Quality Management Systems; food microbiology knowledge is advantageous
  • Experience with the BRC Global Food Standard and related customer-specific standards
  • Experience with basic Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Practical Problem-Solving tools
