Quality Systems Senior Manager

About the Role
The Quality Systems Senior Manager will drive continuous improvement of our Quality Management System and processes, ensuring alignment with global standards and regulatory requirements while collaborating across teams to enhance efficiency and compliance.
As a key member of the Quality Team, you’ll align with third-party manufacturers, lead regulatory compliance initiatives, and optimise processes for maximum efficiency. This role is perfect for someone passionate about cosmetic excellence, process optimisation, and driving measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
In this hands-on role, you will:
1. Quality Management Systems Leadership
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of Quality Management Systems (QMS), including SharePoint and ERP systems
- Ensure ongoing compliance with standards such as EC 1223/2009, FDA cGMP, CSAR, ISO 22716, and ISO 9001
2. Audits & Compliance
- Plan and execute company and third-party audits in line with ISO 22716, FDA, and internal standards (including Corrective Action Plans)
- Work closely with the Global Quality Director and auditors to monitor and address audit findings and risks

3. Process Improvement & Documentation
- Develop, standardise, and maintain quality processes, procedures, and documentation (e.g., SOPs, audit checklists, agreements)
- Collaborate cross-functionally to optimise quality systems and drive digital transformation initiatives
- Drive KPI development and monitoring for quality performance tracking
4. Supplier & Supplier Onboarding
- Onboard new suppliers across all categories, ensuring adherence to Charlotte Tilbury Quality Standards
- Implement risk assessment and change management tools for quality and NPD (New Product Development)
5. Customer Complaint & Escalation Management
- Monitor and address quality-related customer complaints, driving escalations and resolutions as necessary
- Report trends and KPIs to senior leadership to improve proactive risk management
About You
Qualifications & Experience
- BSc or MSc degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Engineering, or a related scientific field
- Strong background in cosmetics, personal care, or pharmaceuticals, preferably in a global regulatory environment
- Expertise in ISO 22716, FDA, CSAR, and GMP standards
- Experience as an ISO 22716 auditor, with hands-on experience in contract manufacturer audits (packaging and accessories experience is a plus)
- Familiarity with quality systems (e.g., SharePoint, SAP) and data analytics (Power BI) skills

- Ability to simplify complex processes and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to drive process improvements and ensure compliance under tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Enthusiasm for the cosmetic industry and a commitment to quality excellence
