Location: Oldham, Greater Manchester

Here at Innovative Technology, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Technician to join our site-based Quality Assurance team.
The Role Overview
The purpose of the role is to provide support to the business to drive progress towards achieving:
- Zero product quality issues
- Zero customer complaints for production quality issues
We currently have a diverse range of products under development, so you can expect variety in this role while serving a demanding global market.
Responsibilities
- Inspection and verification of components and products against specifications, drawings, and standards
- Raising and reporting product nonconformances from inspection activities
- Leading problem-solving activities to implement preventative actions
- Investigating and analysing product non-conformance data
- Collaborating with Production, Production Engineering, and Continuous Improvement (CI) departments
- Conducting internal audits against the requirements of ISO9001
- Producing reports for the Quality Assurance Manager
- Communicating quality issues to all relevant departments

Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in a quality inspection or similar role
- Understanding of ISO9001
- Literacy with Microsoft Office 365 applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in reading, understanding, and measuring components using technical drawings and specifications
