The Role

Join our Quality team as a Quality Technician at our Newport facility, where you'll play a vital role in protecting our customers by ensuring products meet the highest quality standards. You'll conduct chemical and mechanical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products while maintaining meticulous documentation and data integrity. This position offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally with quality control, assurance, and production teams in a collaborative environment. You'll contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing data, identifying trends, and supporting problem-solving activities. Your work directly impacts our reputation for delivering precision and reliability to customers across aerospace, defense, energy, and transportation industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct chemical, mechanical, and visual inspections of materials and finished products according to established protocols
  • Maintain accurate sample traceability and documentation in laboratory systems to ensure regulatory compliance and data integrity
  • Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure reliable and accurate results
  • Analyze quality data, identify trends, and propose process improvements while supporting cross-functional problem-solving activities

What We Need To See From You

  • You possess knowledge in science fields with quality control experience in industrial environments
  • You demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, data analysis, and record-keeping with knowledge of ISO 9001 standards
  • You work effectively both as a collaborative team member and independently, with strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
