We're looking for an experienced Quality Technician who is ready to progress into a more senior, influential role at our Bondgate Refresco site. Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to move beyond a traditional technician position and gain valuable exposure to customers, audits, and wider technical leadership responsibilities.

About The Role

To support the quality improvement and right first-time agenda so that products are legally and safely manufactured in compliance with customer and internal Company specifications and standards. To facilitate the launch of new customers, products, and processes into manufacturing

Here are your key tasks and responsibilities as Quality Technician at Refresco:

  • Lead and support quality assurance activities by conducting GMP, hygiene, QC compliance, and internal audits, identifying non-conformances and driving corrective actions to ensure compliance with company, customer, and industry standards.
  • Investigate consumer complaints, non-conforming products, and process issues, determining root causes and implementing effective corrective and preventative actions to improve quality performance.
  • Coordinate and complete quality verification activities, including sampling, traceability exercises, equipment and process validation, HACCP reviews, and risk assessments to maintain food safety and legal compliance.
  • Manage the introduction of new products, packaging, and processes into manufacturing, ensuring successful launches, trials, and change implementations that meet customer, food safety, and operational requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and value engineering projects, reviewing existing processes, facilitating quality panels, and providing training and guidance to operational teams to enhance standards and performance.
  • Promote a strong culture of health, safety, hygiene, environmental responsibility, and company values, ensuring compliance with policies, supporting cross-site quality activities, and providing cover for key quality functions when required.
