The Opportunity

Join our team in Bellshill as a Quality Technician, where you’ll play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

What you’ll be doing

  • Carry out in-process quality checks, incoming material evaluations, and finished product inspections to support packaging operations, ensuring all checks and analysis are accurately documented.
  • Ensure non-conforming products are appropriately controlled in line with documented processes to prevent release to customers.
  • Conduct audits to assess compliance with quality standards, identifying deviations and supporting continuous improvement activities within packaging operations.
  • Perform quality analysis on products and materials, reporting findings and contributing to data-driven decision-making.
  • Investigate quality complaints and issues, providing clear recommendations to support corrective and preventative actions.
  • Complete line audits relating to glass breakage, recording findings and communicating outcomes effectively with operators and management.
  • Support investigations into product and process non-conformances, raising and managing NCRs through systems such as IQMS or IFS.
  • Monitor and collate quality performance data, sharing insights with line teams and actively contributing to improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain and support quality standards, control plans, SOPs, and documentation, ensuring alignment with WGW governance and IQMS requirements.
  • Promote a strong quality culture within the bottling hall, providing guidance and support to operators and team leaders on product quality matters.
  • Work collaboratively across teams, applying learning from training and development activities to continuously improve performance.
  • Manage product sampling activities across WGS bottling sites in line with established schedules and standards, taking corrective action where required.
  • Maintain and reconcile sample stock levels, using systems such as LIMS to ensure samples are effectively controlled and available.

About You

  • A strong understanding of quality systems and standards (e.g. ISO, IQMS)
  • Experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment is highly desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and maintaining high workplace standards.

  • Friday: 6:00am – 12:00pm

Backshift:

  • Monday to Thursday: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
  • Friday: 10:00am – 4:00pm
