Quality Assurance Technician
About the Role
The key focus of this position is to drive quality excellence across our Distribution Centre. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will work closely with the Quality Manager to support site operations in maintaining and enhancing high standards, improving processes, and ensuring all products consistently meet established quality benchmarks.
This role is critical for delivering defect-free products to customers, helping our business consistently exceed expectations through a commitment to accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.
We seek a collaborative, customer-focused professional with strong experience in automated warehousing environments and systems like WMS/WCS, along with a robust understanding of Health & Safety practices. You will need strong analytical capability, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to building relationships, driving continuous improvement, and supporting operational success.
Salary: £27,000 to circa £30,000 (dependent on experience). Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Vacancies: Two open roles—one for WK 1 days and one for WK 2 days. Please specify your preference in your application.

- Supporting the development and maintenance of Quality Assurance (QA) and Compliance Standards
- Driving quality assurance across products, processes (Standard Operating Procedures), and associated governance/reporting
- Reviewing quality/compliance performance and compiling reports, highlighting potential risks and issues
- Acting as point of contact for operations regarding QA and Compliance, including project involvement
- Seeking opportunities for new operational methods to deliver QA and Compliance improvements
- Supporting and upskilling colleagues to embed these changes on-site and across the business
Skills and Experience Required
- Automated warehousing expertise: Experience with WMS/WCS systems, operational processes, and a clear understanding of Health & Safety standards
- Advanced analytical skills: Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Power BI, able to manipulate, interpret, and present data
- Collaborative mindset: Strong interpersonal skills, relationship-building abilities, and the capacity to manage stakeholder expectations
- Effective communication: Adaptable to different audiences while being comfortable providing feedback or raising operational, safety, or customer service concerns
- Customer-focus and improvement-driven: Flexible to support operational needs, contribute to training, and enhance service delivery
