Quant Analyst / AI Engineer - Post Trade / Front office

Salary:

110k-140k GBP + 20-25% bonus

Hybrid:

3 days per week in the office

Do you come from a Quant Research / Analyst / Dev background and are you hungry to develop your AI expertise? Can you talk Front Office?

The split for this role is approximately 50% AI and 50% Front Office knowledge.

Our client are a Global Financial located in London who are embarking on their AI journey and embracing it with both hands.

We need a Technologist with Front Office knowledge, who has hands-on experience using Agentic and GenAI frameworks, and who can talk macro or derivatives or commodities, as well as having cloud experience.

A key part of your role will be to sit with the Analysts and agentify the knowledge / data and applying AI to create tangible info/research.

You'll have the opportunity to work on state of the art tech, such as Self-Learning, Agentic AI. We need high energy and an ambitious mind-set as this position can lead onto an Applied AI Lead / Director level position.

Previous experience working in Post Trade / Front Office environment is essential, on mission critical systems, would be great, but this is not essential.

Must have:

  • Python systems engineering with experience building APIs (FastAPI/Flask) and deploying on AWS (ECS/EKS, Lambda, Bedrock, Docker)
  • Experience building generative AI applications (LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI or similar)
  • Validated production experience with RAG, agent, and MCP-based systems, including AgentOps (CI/CD, monitoring, optimisation)
  • Applied, pragmatic “builder/hacker” mindset with rapid iteration (idea → POC → production)
  • Understanding of in Investment Banking / Research workflows and financial data platforms (Bloomberg, FactSet, Refinitiv)
  • Experience with M365 Copilot / Copilot Studio, plugins, and skills
