Locations: Remote ( United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Australia, Mexico, or Argentina)
Role Overview
One of our clients is hiring Statistics Experts to teach AI how to interpret and solve complex quantitative problems. As a domain expert, you will:
- Create rigorous analytical prompts
- Evaluate model responses for statistical accuracy
- Ensure frontier AI aligns with the highest standards of quantitative reasoning
This is a fully remote role with flexible scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the factuality and relevance of domain-specific statistical text produced by AI
- Craft challenging analytical prompts and provide expert-level answers in Statistics
- Evaluate and rank domain-specific responses for accuracy
- Review and correct AI-generated ethical reasoning and methodology for statistical correctness
- Deliver clear, concise feedback on quantitative reasoning
- Collaborate with the Outlier expert community to maintain quality standards

Required Skills
- Excellent written communication in ** Statistics** concepts in fluent English
- Strong analytical reasoning and rigorous quantitative attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in an asynchronous, fully remote environment
Required Qualifications
- Education: Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematical Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Econometrics, Data Science, Operations Research, Machine Learning (with statistical focus), or Quantitative Psychology
- Experience: -Statisticsian, Biostatistician, Data Scientist, or similar quantitative/technical/research role

Compensation
- $150 USD/hour (maximum)
- Weekly payouts (via platforms like PayPal or AirTM)
